  4. Protective eyewear must be worn at all times on court.
  5. Shoes must have non‑marking soles.
  6. Court attire must comply with the Squash NZ Clothing Policy.

Teams Event

  • School rankings will be determined by the lowest two combined individual results from at least two students representing the same school.
  • Results may come from any gender combination (two boys, two girls, or one of each).
  • Gold medals will be awarded to the two contributing students only.

Refereeing

  • All players are required to referee or mark the match immediately following their own.
  • Players may also be rostered to referee or mark first‑round matches each day.

Supervision

Each school must have at least one designated adult responsible for their students. Team managers are expected to supervise their team at all times.

  • Matches will be played as the best of five games.
  • Teams must report to the venue controller 20 minutes before each round.

  • Playing and refereeing orders must be strictly followed.

Swish Draw Format

Players are seeded from highest to lowest based on their official Squash NZ grading or their recognised grading from their country of origin. Matches are listed accordingly.

After each match:

  • The winner moves forward carrying the lower of the two player numbers.
  • The loser progresses carrying the higher number.

This process continues through each round to determine final placings.

The tournament organiser may introduce an additional draw if entry numbers exceed the capacity of the Swiss Draw format.

MEDAL PRESENTATIONS

Medals for the placegetters in the singles and teams events will be presented at the conclusion of the tournament.
